    I wanted her middle name to be “Eileen”, however he has an aunt w/ that name and did not want to use it.
    We ended up using “Aila” as her middle name.

    I wanted to name my son Gavin, but he wanted Elijah. Funnily enough, the kid is 4 and his name is Frankie lol. He then wanted to name our daughter Genevieve, which is fine by itself, but when you add to it an 11-letter, very German sounding last name, it’s a bit much!

    For our oldest son I was in love with the name Lincoln and I thought we could call him “Link” for short. It was a nix, but as of January 2010, my oldest nephew now has that name! πŸ™‚

    But, I generally got my wishes granted when it came to naming the children, luckily enough for my sweet husband πŸ˜‰

    Gavin was my number one boy name and I got that…my husband really wanted Ronan as his first name, but he got it as a middle.
    For a boy I loved Mason…but since our last name is Dickson my husband said we are naming our son Mason Dickson, everyone will think it has something to do with the “mason/Dixon line” ugh!

    We have four… boy, girl, boy and the fourth, another boy!! so we actually had to make a list this time and it was terrible πŸ™‚ I really liked Cashel Levi Kelly.. but my sweet guy is very “aware” of nick names and such… so Cash Kelly didn’t work for him… Levi Emerson Kelly, my tender heiney guy!!!, was born May 26… and It his name fits him perfectly!!!

    Lynn believe it or not! I know it sounds mild. DH’s step-dad’s name is Lynn and I love him like a father, so I wanted to give our son his name (Riley Lynn), but dh didn’t like it 😦
